For 80 years, Spokane Children’s Theatre has been creating a place where young people are given their first experience of the magic of live theatre.
This November, we invite our community, alumni, families, volunteers, supporters, and friends to join us for a special evening celebrating the incredible history of Spokane Children’s Theatre and the people who have helped make it possible.
During this fundraising event we will be celebrating eight decades of stories, memories, performances, and community.
Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to explore displays celebrating SCT’s history put together by current board members and past alumni.
We will also take time to honor and dedicate special tributes to two families, The Farley Family and the Brender Family, who made Spokane Children’s Theatre grow and thrive during their many years as volunteers.
The evening will feature special performances from current SCT members and SCT alumni, bringing together generations of people who have been part of our theatre family.
This celebration is also an opportunity to invest in the future of Spokane Children’s Theatre.
As a fundraising event, proceeds will help support SCT's continued mission providing affordable, educational, and quality theatre for their families. Prior to the event and throughout the evening, guests can participate in our $10 raffle baskets, with winners drawn that night.
Spokane Children’s Theatre would not have reached this milestone without the thousands of people who have given their time, talents, resources, creativity, and support throughout the years.
This celebration belongs to all of them.
And as we look back at where we have been, we also look forward to where we are going.

A walk through of Spokane Children's Theatre History.
Board Members and past alumni have come together to create a timeline of our history. Displayed at the event will be a variety of pictures, newspaper articles, buttons, and other historic memorabilia for everyone to enjoy in the first half of the event.
Special thanks to Michael Sandner, JoAnne Emery, Trudy Rogers, Janice Abramson, and Troy Nickerson for helping organize and help bring this display to life.
Catered Event
Catered by My Fresh Basket we will be dining and sharing memories at the start of the evening. There are Vegan/Vegetarian options. Food choice will close 3 days prior to the event.
Past and Present Performers
After dinner everyone will make their way to the theatre for a performance that will never be seen again. Past show alumni and families join our current youth bringing to life the heart of SCT.

Raffle Baskets
Many volunteers and businesses have come together to help create raffle baskets for Spokane Children's Theatre to raise money to support its mission and continue its legacy.
The winners will be drawn at the event.

Dedications
There are many people who have made SCT what it is today. Through mentorship, monetary, volunteer hours, and more there are easily 100's of people that were pillars to our legacy.
We will be recognizing two families that SCT continued to survive and continue on.
