Intro to Musical Theater: Dance

Do you love musical theater but are worried about your dance skills? Do you love dance and want to grow your skill? Well, this is the class for you! By learning various dances and choreography this class will walk you through all the basics of musical theater dance and show you everything you need to know to shine on stage. Comedic Acting
Ages 12 and up

Comedy is one of the most important, entertaining and difficult parts of theater, but with this class you will feel confident in making the whole audience laugh. From physical comedy to comedic timing this class gives you the skills you need to kill any comedic role on stage. Perfect for actors looking to expand there skills and anyone ready for a laugh!
Fall Teen Intensive
"Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind Teen Intensive"
Ages 13 and up

Having opened in 1988 and still playing today as the longest-running show in Chicago history, Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind is an ensemble experiment in presenting “30 Plays in 60 Minutes.” Each two-minute play is performed in random order with an interactive audience. An onstage 60-minute timer keeps everyone honest. This collection of 90 comic, tragic, political, personal and abstract plays gives you the chance to program your own evening of 30 Neo-Futurist plays to reflect the lives and experiences of your own ensemble.
