The perfect introduction to musical theater, this class will teach you everything you need to know to be a part of a musical. This class will focus on working together to create magic on stage and show the joy of creating live theater together.
Intro to Musical Theater: Dance
All Ages

If you want to build dance skills, be in musicals or just learn how to dance for the fun of it, this is the class for you! This class will go over a variety of dance styles used in musical theater and teach the fundamentals. For performers of all ages this class provides the dance skills needed to feel confident at any dance call.
Intro to Acting: The Basics
All Ages
Mondays 5pm-6pm
A class built for the beginner; this class goes over the skills needed to be a strong performer. Over the course of this class, you will go from total beginner to killing your next audition. If you're looking for an entry point into theater, this is the class for you.
Intro to Acting: Character
All Ages

One of the most important lessons you can learn as an actor is how to build and embrace a character, and this class teaches just that. This class is perfect for beginners looking for a way into acting, as well as experienced actors looking to define their character work further.
Intro to Acting: Auditions
All Ages
Saturdays 11:45am-12:45pm
Are you nervous for an audition? Have never auditioned before and wanted some guidance? Then this is the class for you. Whether you're new to theater or just anxious about auditions, this class will walk you through strategies and skills to kill any audition.

Intermediate Stage Craft
(Previous class or basic stage craft knowledge required)

If you have ever seen a show, looked at the set and wondered, “could I do that?” then this is the class for you. Building off previous stage craft classes this class will give you hands-on experience in designing and building models and set pieces for a show. This class will not only give you the skills you need to work on sets it will also give you hands-on experience building pieces shows at SCT.
