Bring the stage to life, literally! In this immersive workshop, you’ll dive into the world of scenic painting by working directly on the set of Scrooge!, our upcoming Winter musical. Natalie will take you through the process of preparing the stage for a show, creating the beautiful streets of Victorian London.
Comedy isn’t just in the lines—it’s in the body! Craig will lead you in a fun, fast-paced workshop designed to explore physicality and bring characters to life. You'll discover how gestures, posture, and body language can turn an ordinary moment into comedic gold.

Cold Reads

In this confidence-boosting workshop, Cynda will walk you through how to tackle cold reads and handle those surprise audition scenes like a pro. Interested in theater but don't know where to start? Have some experience but want to learn more? This is the perfect class! In this class you will walk through the basics of theater and acting. This class will bring out your confidence and show you how to give it your all on stage. You will learn theater games, and exercises that will help you grow into a strong performer.
Preschool Performers: Peter Pan

Bring your child into the world of theater with an exciting experience! This class will bring you into the story of Peter Pan, taking all the fun of theatre to a preschool level. Students will learn songs and games all themed around the classic story of wonder and adventure.
Intermediate Musical Theater

Learn how to bring your singing to the next level in this next level music class. Students will go through all the aspects of singing, from technique to sheet music. Students will be given songs to learn and perform giving them the full musical theater practice and experience!
Playwriting

Let your creativity flow! This class will take you through the process of creating your very own one act plays. Working with Spokane Playwrights Laboratory students will learn all the skills they need to create and see their art performed.
Audition Academy Monologues

Stressing about auditions? Hoping to improve your monologue and acting skills? This is the class for you! This class will walk you through the audition process and help you perfect your performance. Through acting exercises and lessons you’ll never have to fear another audition. (Some experienced required)
Stage Craft: The Basics 13

This class will give you all the tools and skills you need to start your journey into the set building world. You will learn how to use all sorts of tools and techniques that are not only handy on set but also great daily skills to have. You will learn how to safely and efficiently work in any set shop.
Costume Construction: The Basics

Step into the world of costuming, in a hands-on crash course on the art of making costumes. This class will give you all the skills you need to start your journey in the costuming world. Learn to sew, hem and create with an SCT customer in SCT’s own costume shop.
