Introducing: Young Actors Studio! The Young Actor's Studio is a weekly drama workshop for kids ages 10-17. Limited to only 16 members, this intensive workshop focuses on character development, acquiring stronger acting skills, speaking believable dialogue and delivering dynamic monologues. Table work includes dissection and discussion of established scripts as well as original works.
Young Actors Studio, directed by Dawn Taylor Reinhardt, meets Mondays from 4:30-6 PM in the Conference Room at 315 W Mission. There are new sessions starting every 8 weeks, with a $60 registration fee. Download the enrollment form here or email sct@spokanechildrenstheatre.org
About the Instructor: Dawn Taylor Reinhardt studied theater at the Northern College of Speech and Drama in Oldham England. Since then Dawn has worked and taught children around the globe for the last 24 years. She has been residing in Spokane for the last 12 where she continues to share her knowledge and love for theater. For the last 10 years Dawn has worked as the Production Stage Manager for CST. She works as an independent educator creating workshops for film and theater around the NW. Dawn is the director of Spokane Children's Theatre productions: Alexander, Who's Not, Not, Not, Not, Not, Not Going to Move! and Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business.
